Seattle coach Chris Victor talks NCAA Tournament hopes & more

Chris Victor sat down with Mid-Major Basketball to discuss his Seattle University Redhawks as the 2024-25 quickly approaches. Victor has led Seattle to three straight 20-plus win seasons for the first time since 1957-59. As he prepares for his fourth season at the helm, the Redhawks are looking to make the NCAA Tournament for the first time since returning to the Division I level in 2008.

What players will fill the void left by last year’s leading scorer Cam Tyson? What transfers have stood out in practice? With a difficult non-conference schedule, what is Victor’s scheduling philosophy? Is Seattle a sleeping giant? What will be key to taking the next step as a program?
