Mid-Major Basketball: Top 25 Poll

The top three teams in this week’s Mid-Major Basketball Top 25 Poll remain unchanged, with Memphis, Gonzaga and Utah State continuing to solidify their positions as the clear frontrunners at this stage of the season.

Dayton experienced a notable setback, dropping three spots after a decisive 20-point loss to George Washington. Meanwhile, Drake fell out of the top 10 after suffering its first two defeats of the season, losing to UIC and Murray State.

On the rise this week, Washington State made a significant jump, climbing eight spots as the Cougars assert themselves as one of the premier teams in the WCC. Grand Canyon returned to the rankings after a one-week absence, while Santa Clara and Samford broke into the poll for the first time this season.
