Mid-Major Basketball: Top 25 Poll

For the third consecutive week, the top three teams in the Mid-Major Basketball Top 25 Poll remain unchanged. Memphis, Gonzaga and Utah State continue solidifying their positions as the leading frontrunners at this stage of the season.

Santa Clara made a significant leap in this week’s rankings, climbing 11 spots to No. 11. The Broncos (12-6) earned impressive victories over Oregon State and San Francisco, both ranked in the Mid-Major Basketball Top 25. Notably, Santa Clara avenged an earlier three-point road loss to San Francisco by dominating the Dons in a 23-point home win.

The Broncos’ resume also includes wins against Saint Louis, Bradley, McNeese and TCU. They have four combined Quad 1 and Quad 2 victories, further solidifying their case as a team to watch in mid-major basketball this season.
