Joe Grahovac, a 6-foot-10 do-it-all forward with a sharp shooting stroke and standout red hair, is bringing his versatile game to St. Bonaventure after a dominant season at Fullerton College.
Grahovac averaged 15.9 points and 6.6 rebounds while shooting 62% from the field and 39.2% from 3 in his one year at Fullerton State.
Grahovac brings a mix of athleticism and size to St. Bonaventure that hasn’t been a usual occurrence in Olean, New York. He can help defend in the paint and space the floor alongside another new St. Bonaventure signee, Frank Mitchell. Mitchell is a 6-foot-8 center and a transfer out of Minnesota.
“I think (Mitchell) and I will play off each other pretty well,” said Grahovac.
Grahovac was drawn to St. Bonaventure not just by the opportunity on the court but by the passionate fan base and the energy of the Reilly Center.
“I just enjoyed the environment, and I like how everyone, you know, is in love with hoops out there,” Grahovac said on why he chose St. Bonaventure.
Overall, Grahovac is an athletic big man expected to make a significant impact for the Bonnies next season.
